"Footprint from Past" / "The Mammoth"

In year 1938, while they were digging a new channel in Nevljica, only a kilometer away from Kamnik, they found the skeleton of a mammoth. The skeleton was probably a hunting prey for the Stone Age man.

They got all necessary things for their life with this prey; food, skin, and bones for tool. The skeleton of a 40 year old mammoth is disposed in the Natural History Museum in Ljubljana, where it is one of the most visited attractions.
